Welcome to the Five Elements exhibition project. Here you will find exhibition dates and locations, view the works of author Konstantin Medragon, and discover his book "The Fifth Element · 五行".
A project dedicated to a universal method based on the interpretation of the Five Elements — a way of describing existence through five colors, five sounds, five tastes, five emotions, and five pairs of organs. Everything that surrounds us, everything we experience, can be understood through this prism.
The exhibition presents five paintings, each corresponding to one of the Elements. The properties of each Element are conveyed not only through color but also through texture — powerful, tactile images that embody the spirit of each element.
Water — depth, mystery, and hidden threat beneath a calm surface. It is the force that carves canyons over millennia and the whisper that moves through dreams. In this painting, Water speaks through deep blues and blacks, through flowing and receding textures, inviting the viewer to look beneath the surface.

Wood — growth, expansion, and the gentle persistence of life pushing through stone. It is the first stirring of spring and the slow unfolding of destiny. Greens and browns dominate this canvas, and textures rise and branch, reaching upward toward the light.

It is the stomach of the human being — the cauldron of reflection and transformation. Yellows, ochres, and warm browns fill this canvas, and textures are dense, grounded, and endlessly fertile.
Learn more about earth meaningIt is no coincidence that a human being has five fingers on each limb — the body itself carries the signature of the Five Elements. Earth, as the fifth and central element, is the sign of the human being: the one who can observe, reflect, and name the world through these five forces.
According to ancient texts, these symbols appeared in the following order. Water — as the foundation of life. Fire — as the act of creation. Wood — as life itself, manifested in form. Metal — as the reflection of manifested life and death. And the fifth, central element — Earth, the symbol of the human being and the capacity for self-awareness.
The book "The Fifth Element · 五行" is a journey into this universal language. It describes ten Hollywood actors whose stories reveal the meaning of the five main Elements in our lives and characters. Through their examples, you will see how the elements shape destiny, talent, and a person's path. The book is written by Konstantin Medragon — an artist and researcher of ancient knowledge. It is both a practical guide and a philosophical reflection on time, nature, and the human being.
